Assembly of focal points and RAFT partners

Alongside the Geneva Health Forum, the focal points of RAFT and several partners have come together to make update on the progress of various projects of RAFT and identify ways to improve and expand services provided.

This workshop was supported by Sanofi-Aventis and UNFM, our partners, including the e-diabetes. On this occasion, a professional video was made to introduce the project, giving voice to several participating countries.

Despite the cloud of volcanic ash that hampered air traffic, most partner countries have been represented, including Mali, Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal and Madagascar.

Connected Internet, Professor Fethi Ladeb, held in Tunis, shared his experiences with tele-radiology.

Other projects presented include: the VIPS project in Africa (Dr. George Bédiang and Dr. Marc-Andre Raetzo), the CT project for Africa (Prof. Robert Sigal), the program of postgraduate training (Prof. Vincent Djientcheu), the project EQUI-ResHus (Dr Cheikh Oumar Bagayoko), tele-dermatology (Dr. Mark and Prof Pechere. Rabenja Rapelanoro).

Finally, a new collaborative platform implemented in the framework of the Geneva Health Forum, and potentially interesting for the RAFT was presented by Dr. Didier Wernli: http://genevahealthforum.net
