What Does Strep Throat Look Like 2010 Year

Tele-ultrasound Bankass

A doctor and a midwife from the hospital district Bankass were trained in the use of ultrasound in the project EQUI-ResHus and now commonly used for pregnancy monitoring and diagnosis abdominal pathologies. The difficult cases are reviewed remotely by Dr. Touré, a radiologist in Bamako. In addition to improved diagnostic capabilities for these health professionals isolated and the ability to better care for patients locally, ultrasonography with remote monitoring also improves patients' perception of quality of services provided by this hospital. A note on the image that the patient can watch live ultrasound imaging through a second screen, and, where applicable, see the fetus and its beating heart.

Does Irs Send Certified Mailbfor Audit

At The Geneva Health Forum 2010

The RAFT network was well represented in the discussions about access to health and the opportunities and challenges of ICT.

A session looked at ways to improve access to information for isolated care professionals:
" Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) play an important part in modern medicine. However, in rural African communities, the ability of medical professionals to access these new technologies is limited. The purpose of this session was to present the methods and findings of several recent projects in rural Africa and to identify ways of improving access to telemedicine services in future."

Another session looked at IT and the future of healthcare:
" The benefits of Information Technology (IT) in healthcare are creating "boundless opportunities in a borderless world", according to speaker Dr. Ganapathy. Access to healthcare and support for care professionals in remote rural areas is being transformed by the internet and telecommunications. Resources are being better utilised as the need for physical mobility of equipment, care providers and patients is minimised."

Assembly of focal points and RAFT partners

Alongside the Geneva Health Forum, the focal points of RAFT and several partners have come together to make update on the progress of various projects of RAFT and identify ways to improve and expand services provided.
